Annual Meeting 2010

The Chapel of All Saints in Leominster, Massachusetts is an Episcopal Church within the Diocese of Western Massachusetts.  We are located in North Leominster near Lake Whalom.  The earliest members of the Chapel of All Saints were comprised of a handful of people who held prayer services in their homes beginning in 1915.  In 1919, the decision was made that services would be strictly from the Episcopal Prayer Book.

On the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6, 1921, 23 people met, adopted by-laws, and elected officers as a parochial mission of Christ Church, Fitchburg, until becoming a mission of the Diocese in 1931.  Based on a dream of Rev. Gammack, a fund drive was started to erect the stone church he envisioned in Whalom.  The cornerstone was laid on October 28, 1935.

The completed church was consecrated on September 19, 1937 by Rt. Rev. William Appleton Lawrence, Bishop of the Diocese of Western Massachusetts.  The Parish Hall was built in 1956 and named in honor of Rev. Richard H. Gurley. In 1963 the church became a full-fledged parish.

With efforts of the many dedicated and loving clergy and lay people. All Saints has been able through the years to serve Our Lord Jesus Christ in our homes, our church, our Diocese and the wider community.

Our current supply priest is Hendy Webb and Rick Scarpignato is the Senior Warden and Donna Cameron is the Junior Warden. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the parish office at 978-342-3812 or at chapelofallsaints@juno.com.
